In this role, you join a larger team of 31 colleagues, which consists of 6 smaller teams all in Amsterdam. You report to the Senior Director Business Process Development

Position Description

As Senior Manager Supply Chain Planning Process Development, you are responsible for initiating and delivering planning process improvements to facilitate the demand and supply planners. In SCPD, you are leading planning related projects and improvement initiatives for the brands of PVH.

  • Build roadmap for Planning domain and drive Planning process improvements based on your own initiatives, opportunities or PVH’ Supply Chain strategy
  • Set up and develop planning process expertise within SCPD to support planners within PVH Europe and collaborates with IT and business to improve planning processes
  • Provide direction and support to SCPD project managers regarding planning process improvements
  • Deliver timely and relevant communication to all stakeholders to ensure alignment 
  • Develop and offer employee trainings and development on planning processes and tools
  • Evaluate and assess results as input for continuous improvement
  • Participate as planning process expert in cross-functional projects or planning projects initiated by other departments
  • As part of SCPD play an active role in achieving to fulfil key initiatives outlined in strategic business plan 
  • As part of SCPD department play an active role in achieving a high performing team

Position Requirements

  • A completed MA degree / equivalent in Supply Chain Management or Business administrations or other appropriate education
  • Approx. 7-10 years of relevant work experience in the field of supply chain and planning processes & systems; fashion experience is a big plus
  • Experience in a complex business environment in different areas of supply chain; have know-how of planning processes & systems; have a track record in leading 
  • Supply Chain Planning / Systems projects from scratch
  • People management experience: establish and maintain relationships within the (IT) team and with internal partners that drive development and collaboration
  • Strong planning and/or forecasting experience; strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strategic/conceptual: have a vision for the future and be able to create long-term planning roadmap and plan to bring the vision to life, combined (strongly hands-on)
  • Strong communication skills: ability to influence and lead others (both within Supply Chain community as well as broader organization), team player 
  • Business fluency in English (written and verbal)
