Department Information

The TH Marketing & Communications department has 3 key objectives:

  1. Drive traffic and conversion @ full price
  2. Consistently bring the brand to life in the markets
  3. Be a pro-active business partner

Its scope includes setting strategies, giving direction and servicing the business of its ‘clients’: Divisions, Countries, Departments, Licensing Partners and Senior Management. It is the point of liaison between client needs, the brand and the final consumer.

Our core competencies cover a wide variety of capabilities: brand management, corporate and internal communications, advertising, media management, promotion management, trade marketing, campaign creation, in-store marketing (POS), digital marketing, event management, sponsoring, PR management and celebrity endorsement.

Communications is responsible for corporate communications, event management, sponsoring, PR and celebrity endorsements. They ensure that there is appropriate press coverage to drive the Tommy Hilfiger brand.

The Position:

The Global Internal Communications Coordinator, Channels, is responsible for the day-to-day management of internal communications platforms and supporting the development of channel innovations. This includes channel development and optimization and their alignment with audiences, content posting and email distribution, analytics analysis and reporting, IT coordination, and external partner coordination.

Position Responsibilities:

Product Owner (PO):

  • Product Owner of Scrum Team developing a custom iOS App that aids our associates’ daily work lives on the PVH EU Campus
  • Product backlog, user stories, acceptance criteria, close collaboration with Scrum Master and development team
  • Support digital and business during digital transformation, such as channel improvements and integrations
  • Act as a liaison between IT and business
  • Manage conflict, communication and expectations across departments
  • Support Agile Team scale up
  • Implement Scrum best practice 
  • Maintain team velocity and drive project forward, always keeping quality top of mind

General Internal Communications Channel Management:

  • Manage and optimize all internal digital channels the organization has to communicate across our global audiences including PVH Campus App, The Thread, (Global Intranet) PVH Insider (News app)
  • Serve as EU point of contact for IC channel maintenance/troubleshooting
  • Collaborate with US counterparts on internal channel improvements
  • Oversee process for internal memo send outs
  • Manage monthly reporting of readership and analytics for global channel landscape
  • Use analytics to develop internal communications best practices and protocols in line with the overall strategy of Global Internal Communications
  • Support in the creation of global distribution list strategy with HR & IT and oversee ongoing updates, testing and segmentation of distribution lists
  • Support IC team with day-to-day communications tasks and responsibilities
  • “Client Services” point-person for Digital Hub, IT, Legal, Business Development, Innovation Next

Position Requirements

  • Experience working on an Agile Team, writing and managing user stories as a product owner/product manager, or:
    • Experience in a business, technical, or systems analysis role, including generation of business requirements, functional specifications, and/or technical specifications.
  • Strong communicator, both technical and creative
  • Highly organized and structured individual with the ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Ability to develop working relationships across the organization that is needed to complete key tasks and projects successfully
  • Experience with Jira

  • University or similar degree in marketing or communications

  • Ability to work and live in the Netherlands (we cannot support relocation for this role)
