Fitting within the wider Marketing and Communications group, PVH Studios is a talented team collaborating to capture, produce and distribute imagery for E-Commerce Product Detail Pages (PDP) and commercial visual assets. This imagery we produce enables our wholesale customers to make informed purchasing decisions through our innovative Digital Showrooms and sales tools. It also enhances the consumer shopping experience by presenting our product and bringing shopping experiences to life in digital and “bricks and mortar” retail environments such as online and interactive digital screens.  

As creative guardians, PVH Studios works together with the wider business to realize the overall brand vision. We’re responsible for elevating our product and reflecting core brand values across every touch-point whilst adopting and maintaining an omni-channel approach to everything we do.

About the Role:

PVH Studios produces over 100,000 images for our Tommy Hilfiger and Calvin Klein websites per year. Our Creative team sets the aesthetic guidelines for this and executes shoots against them. And it is the balance between this creative elevation and scalable productivity that excites us. The E-Com Art Director exists at the front-line of image generation driving our teams of Photographers, Stylists, Models, Hair & Make-Up Artists and DigiTech’s to cost-efficient excellence. They are on-set almost every day to make sure our quality-bars are hit whilst consumers and stake-holders are left wanting more. They work closely with our Production team to build creative processes and feedback loops that facilitate the best teams working on our shoots.


  • Concepting and driving a narrative imagery story, daily
  • Working on-set to shoot all products to Global E-Commerce Guidelines
  • Advising Post-Production team on scalable retouching requirements
  • Liaising with stakeholders to elevate imagery within Guidelines
  • Working with Production team to on-board all new freelance crew and talent, as well as to review freelance crew and talent alongside Production review cycles
  • Being primary ‘point-of-contact’ for any subjective interpretation of Guidelines and output
  • Uphold and implement the concept of ‘5 Aesthetic Variables’ (5AV)
  • Own and deliver against 5AV Key-Performance Indicators (KPI’s)
  • Coordinating with Post-Production team to address reshoot or upload concerns
  • Work towards a ‘Right First Time’ approach guided by PVH Studios ‘Image defect Tracker’
  • Develop and test new E-Commerce approaches and image types – including Video
  • Art Direct ad hoc projects outside of E-Commerce where need arises
  • Continuously improve the Creative process and look for cost savings everywhere

  • University Degree or alternative Creative Qualification
  • At least 3+ years as a keycreative within a high-volume, E-Commerce imaging environment
  • A strong E-Commerce fashion portfolio across multiple product categories
  • Experience in Photoshop, Capture One, InDesign or automated studio workflow tools highly desirable
  • Fluent in English in both written and spoken
  • Photography, graphic design or styling background (all 3 a preference!)
