Our Tommy Hilfiger and Calvin Klein brands have experienced phenomenal growth over the last years and continue to evolve. We are increasing the headcount in our Buying and Merchandising team to prepare ourselves for the next exciting years. Both brands still have remarkable potential and we are looking for two Assistant Merchandisers to help us on our journey. Our B&M team members are passionate for what they do, they are of course very hard working, but also fun, sociable and have strong relationships. This is a very positive time for PVH, why not join us?! PVH Merchandising is responsible for the budgeting, range building and product trading strategy for the UKIR business. In a constantly changing retail environment they look to drive the optimum assortment for each retail location, based upon: customer profile, sales targets and regional retail landscape.

Position Description

Working closely with all key retail stakeholders (buying, retail operations, visual merchandising and store teams) collaboration, strong communication and a passion for opportunity and success are the foundations for this team! The Assistant Merchandiser plays a key role in supporting the Merchandising team to maximise commercial opportunities for Tommy Hilfiger & Calvin Klein brands. Reporting into the Merchandiser, this role will support in driving sales and profit through effective inventory management and in season trading decisions across both brands. Responsibilities include: ● Contribute to departmental Merchandising planning and trading strategy, with the customer and brand in mind. ● Managing, training and guiding a team of MAA to effectively deliver initial allocation replen and exit strategy in the most efficient way. ● To prepare analysis packs as necessary and pull together strategy recommendations under the guidance of the Merchandiser. ● Responsible for the smooth day to day operation of the Merchandising department. ● Support in the category planning of your own department for the forward buying process. ● Support in the running and analysis of weekly trade reports. ● Mid-season and end of season sale planning. ● Monthly in season OTB reviews including line level for core lines. ● Overseeing/supporting allocation process, including never-out-of-stocks. ● Undertake stores visits and work with key stores to support their performance and assess your department against your competition. ● Develop strong relationships across B&M, Operations, Store and Amsterdam teams. ● Implementing and exploiting new systems and processes to continually improve merchandising processes ● Support Merchandising function in delivery of training for Allocators and new Assistant Merchandisers.

Position Requirements

● You’ll have previous experience at Assistant Merchandiser level within a fashion/retail business. ● Advanced Excel skills are essential. ● You'll have excellent planning and analytical skills. ● You’ll have strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to build relationships with ease. ● You’ll be a commercially astute and confident decision maker, communicating with impact across all levels. ● You’ll be a strong team leader with an ability to manage, motivate and work effectively within a small team. ● You’ll have in-depth knowledge of the current competitive market place. ● You will work well with change, being able to quickly adapt and work with pace.
