Our Tommy Hilfiger and Calvin Klein brands have experienced phenomenal growth over the last years and continue to evolve. We are increasing the headcount in our Buying and Merchandising team to prepare ourselves for the next exciting years. Both brands still have remarkable potential and we are looking for a Merchandiser to help us on our journey. This is a very positive time for PVH, why not join us?! PVH Merchandising is responsible for the budgeting, range building and product trading strategy for the UKIR business. In a constantly changing retail environment, they look to drive the optimum assortment for each retail location, based upon: customer profile, sales targets and regional retail landscape. Working closely and collaborating with all key retail stakeholders (Buying, Retail Operations, Visual Merchandising and Store teams), ensuring strong communication and a passion for opportunity and success are the foundations for this team.
Reporting into the Head of Buying & Merchandising, the Merchandiser plays a true leadership role, developing and motivating the wider team whilst driving the merchandising strategy for the channel’s commercial direction. Responsibilities include: ● Drive product strategy across the Channel for UKIR. ● Manage the pre-season planning and in-season trading of the business model (with ownership of sales planning, margin and markdown). ● Set budgets, plan forecasting and management of OTB for both Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger brands. ● Own the strategy for commitment and stock targets at division /range/category level. ● Review sales analysis to ensure the correct balance of history; trend and product strategy within the UK+ product range. ● Manage WSSI to ensure smooth flow of product and visibility of seasonal end stocks. ● Define and deliver a seasonal sale strategy. ● Provide management with reporting and strategic proposals for investment to drive growth and maximise profitability. ● Manage allocation and replenishment plans. ● Work with retail teams and other merchandise channels to manage terminal stock and exit plans. ● Collaborate closely with Buying and Marketing teams to establish promotional calendar. ● Implement and exploit new systems and processes to continually improve the buying-model. ● Work with the Amsterdam division/s to exploit their capability and ensure ways of working are established in line with the business model. ● Develop and drive your team to support in delivering key KPI’s.
● You’ll have a proven track record in the role of Merchandiser within a fashion/retail business. ● You’ll have strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to build relationships with ease. ● You’ll be a commercially astute and confident decision maker, communicating with impact across all levels. ● You’ll be a strong team leader with an ability to manage, motivate and work effectively within a small team. ● You’ll have in-depth knowledge of the current competitive market place. ● You’ll work well with change, being able to quickly adapt and work with pace.
