Position Description

The Digital Business Transformation team investigates, implements and broadens the use of digital tools and services at PVH. From digital design solutions to the expansion of the Digital Showroom, the team’s aim is to optimize design, development and sell-in processes, to increase speed to market and improve efficiencies across the organization.

Position responsibilities:

The Director of 3D & Digital Creation will lead the strategy development and implementation roadmap for 3D design at PVH Europe, combining innovative design processes with state-of the art technology & systems. The role reports into the head of the department. Roles and responsibilities include:

  • Drive implementation of 3D & Digital Creation strategy within the product divisions:
    • Conduct pilots to test & learn
    • Build optimal divisional processes, from set-up of libraries across the organization to vendor involvement
    • Guide divisions on talent needs and organizational set-up
    • Build roadmap for divisional roll-out
  • Strategic partnership with internal IT teams to build the foundation for 3D & Digital Creation:
    • Work with internal/external software development teams and product managers to deliver the tools & systems necessary for seamless 3D Design
    • Partner with internal stakeholders to gather product feedback, prioritize work and ensure potential alignment
    • Manage prioritization and trade-offs among user needs, business needs and technical limitations. Don’t hesitate to re-evaluate the roadmap if it’s in the interest of the business
    • Drive technology research and partnering with external vendors, keeping in mind understand user needs, technical feasibility and alignment with business objectives
  • Build and lead team of 3D project managers/specialists. Coach team to effectively:
    • Educate and train key users
    • Provide support to the users
    • Drive increased adoption of 3D & Digital Creation across product divisions

Position Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in relevant industry/field. Experience with 3D Design in the apparel industry is a big plus
  • Master’s degree is preferred
  • Demonstrable leadership skills - experienced in leading and coaching own teams as well as cross-functional project teams
  • Demonstrated ability to lead large strategic projects from kickoff to launch
  • Demonstrated leadership working cross-functionally to deliver complex projects
  • Ability to quickly understand organizational structures and interdependences 
  • Self-starter with ability to multi-task and deal with time pressure in an unstructured environment
  • Excellent organizational skills to juggle many tasks without losing sight of the highest priority items. Ability to stay focused under pressure, prioritizing and managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Collaborative; able to liaise closely across different levels of the organization
  • Ambitious, motivated to go the extra mile and able to perform in a demanding work environment
