Position Description

Support the Merchandising Manager & Assistant across all daily tasks in line with the seasonal calendar.

  • Take ownership of the PLM system throughout the season, guarantee accuracy of all tools
  • Monitor and administrate all changes to product post Line Opening. Manage the daily newsflash send out
  • Independently manage ad hoc projects within the division (such as comp shop)
  • Support Merchandising team with sales analysis. Utilizes factors of Product Sell Out, Consumer Market Trends and “What sells when”
  • Supports the team in the run up to and during Sketch, Proto & Adoption meetings. Take notes during meetings & assist with the follow up on missing information
  • Prepare set up for divisional meetings. Arrange samples and necessary documents
  • Function as a point of contact for the regional teams during the selling season
  • Handle and follow up on product complaints
  • Help with the setup of travel and cross divisional meetings
  • Support the manager on open issues, ie. chase samples, data information etc

Position Requirements

  • Strong communication and analytical skills
  • Intimidate/Advanced system skills (Microsoft Office, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Proactive, mature & confident; able to work independently
  • Confident to take ownership of tasks & projects
  • Fashion knowledge a plus, good taste level – able to offer informed opinion on styles/collection
  • Flexibility, adaptability and a positive "can-do" attitude are a must
  • Ability to prioritize & multi-task
  • Strong organizational skills, ability of maintaining tight calendar and process management multiple priorities
  • Ability to Interact/Partner with colleagues at various levels in a positive and appropriate manner
  • Excellent command of the English language (written & spoken) (additional languages a plus)
