The first Tommy Hilfiger store has opened in Cape Town, South Africa. Located at the Victoria Wharf Shopping Center on the V&A Waterfront, the store opened on April 10, 2013, and offers a broad selection of Tommy Hilfiger menswear, womenswear, footwear and accessories. It is operated by Footwear Trading, master retail franchisee partner of Tommy Hilfiger in South Africa.

“I am thrilled to be opening our inaugural store in Cape Town,” said Tommy Hilfiger. “Coastal cities are always a source of inspiration for me. From nautical style to white sandy beaches and crystal clear waters, Cape Town is a beautiful destination. I look forward to sharing our classic, American, cool style with locals and tourists alike.”

The store is located at V&A Waterfront, the city’s renowned cosmopolitan shopping destination. Resting at the foot of Table Mountain, the dockside location features a mix of premium international luxury retailers positioned alongside local boutiques – all with stunning ocean and mountain vistas.

The store’s 1,894 square foot / 176 square meter interior reflects Tommy Hilfiger’s iconic aesthetic of fusing traditional accents with modern design. Glossy walnut fixtures and pale oak wood floors add a touch of old school prep. Contemporary design pieces, custom artwork and vintage props complete the backdrop for the full range of Tommy Hilfiger collections.
