Your child’s mess might drive you crazy, but it could also be an opportunity to discover something surprising about yourself.
A self-described control freak with a passion for technology and systems, Gabriela Roa built a career managing IT projects at PVH. When her son was born, this organized, systems-loving mother found all her attempts to control the chaos failed. So Gabriela tried something new: finding meaning in the mess.
Through three years of observing kids at play, Gabriela has learned to connect with her child while discovering her own creativity. As a result, she is playing the cello, improvising Latin-American music, and started a group called Entrelazos where she works with musicians without formal training to perform for charity events.
Gabriela studied Languages and International Organizations at Andes University in her home country of Venezuela.Back to overview
